Welcome to Spaceship Earth Coffee Co. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at spaceshipearth.coffee, our online shop, coffee subscription service, local delivery program, and related services (collectively, the “Services”) operated by Henry George Coffee Company LLC, doing business as Spaceship Earth Coffee Co. (“we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 345 E Choctaw Ave, McAlester, Oklahoma 74501.
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Accounts
1.1 Account Creation
Some features of our Services, including placing orders, managing subscriptions, and viewing order history, require you to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account information updated.
1.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately atΒ info@spaceshipearth.coffeeΒ if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of your account.
1.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or abused our Services. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
2. Online Orders & Purchases
2.1 Product Availability & Descriptions
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, and pricing on our website are accurate. However, we do not warrant that descriptions or other content are error-free, complete, or current. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to update information at any time without notice.
All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or refuse any order at our discretion.
2.2 Pricing
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Prices are subject to change without notice, except that price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed. Applicable sales tax will be calculated and added at checkout based on the delivery address and applicable Oklahoma tax laws.
2.3 Payment
We accept payment via credit card, debit card, and other methods displayed at checkout. Payment is processed securely by our third-party payment processor (Square). By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method and authorize us to charge the full order amount, including taxes and shipping fees.
All purchases are final. See Section 4 for our refund and return policy.
2.4 Order Confirmation & Cancellation
After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation via email. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order β it acknowledges that we received it. We reserve the right to cancel any order for any reason, including product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.
You may request cancellation of an order by contacting us promptly. Orders that have already been shipped or prepared for pickup cannot be canceled.
3. Coffee Subscription Service
3.1 Subscription Overview
Our coffee subscription service allows you to receive freshly roasted coffee on a recurring basis. When you subscribe, you select your preferred roast, bag size, grind type, delivery frequency (weekly, biweekly, or monthly), and fulfillment method (local delivery, in-store pickup, or shipping).
3.2 Recurring Billing
By enrolling in a subscription, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the frequency you selected. You will be charged on or around the same date each billing cycle. If your payment method is declined, we will attempt to notify you and may retry the charge. If payment cannot be collected after reasonable attempts, your subscription may be suspended.
3.3 Subscription Management
You can manage your subscription at any time through your My Account dashboard on our website. Available actions include:
- Changing your roast selection, bag size, grind type, or delivery frequency
- Switching between fulfillment methods (local delivery, pickup, or shipping)
- Pausing your subscription for a specified period
- Skipping an upcoming order
- Canceling your subscription
Changes must be made before your next billing date to take effect for the upcoming cycle. Changes made after billing will apply to the following cycle.
3.4 Subscription Pricing
Subscription pricing is based on the roast, bag size, and fulfillment method selected at the time of enrollment. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 14 days’ written notice (via email) before the new pricing takes effect. If you do not agree with a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price applies.
3.5 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your My Account dashboard or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle β you will not be charged again, and any remaining prepaid orders will be fulfilled. We do not provide partial refunds for unused portions of a billing cycle.
3.6 Subscription Fulfillment
Subscription orders are roasted and fulfilled according to the schedule associated with your selected frequency. We make reasonable efforts to fulfill orders on time, but we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including supply chain disruptions, weather events, or carrier delays.
4. Shipping, Delivery & Returns
4.1 Shipping
We ship orders via USPS or other carriers to addresses within the United States. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on order weight and destination. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, customs, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Risk of loss and title for shipped items pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.
4.2 Local Delivery
We offer free local delivery for subscription orders within our designated delivery zone in the McAlester, Oklahoma area. Your delivery address must fall within our service area, which is validated at checkout using geographic coordinates. If your address is outside the delivery zone, you will be prompted to choose in-store pickup or standard shipping instead.
Local deliveries are made during regular business hours on designated delivery days. We will notify you via your preferred method (email or SMS) when your delivery is on its way and upon completion. If delivery cannot be completed (for example, if the delivery location is inaccessible), we will attempt to contact you to arrange an alternative.
4.3 In-Store Pickup
Subscription and one-time orders may be designated for in-store pickup at our location at 345 E Choctaw Ave, McAlester, OK 74501. You will be notified when your order is ready. Orders not picked up within 7 days of notification may be forfeited without refund.
4.4 Returns & Refunds
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we generally do not accept returns on coffee orders. However, if you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, please contact us within 7 days of receipt atΒ info@spaceshipearth.coffeeΒ with a description of the issue and photos if applicable. At our discretion, we will provide a replacement or refund.
Non-perishable merchandise (if applicable) may be returned in unused, original condition within 30 days of receipt for a refund of the purchase price. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was defective or shipped in error.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5β10 business days of approval.
5. Gift Cards
Gift cards purchased from Spaceship Earth Coffee Co. are redeemable for products and services at our physical location and on our website. Gift cards do not expire and are not subject to inactivity fees. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash except where required by law. Lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced. Gift card balances can be checked at our physical location or by contacting us.
6. SMS/Text Messaging
6.1 Consent
By checking the SMS opt-in checkbox during checkout or enabling SMS notifications from your Account Settings page, you provide express written consent to receive automated text messages from Spaceship Earth Coffee Co. at the mobile phone number you provide.
6.2 Message Types & Frequency
Messages relate to your coffee subscription and may include: roast confirmations, packing updates, out-for-delivery alerts, delivery
confirmations, and weekly order reminders. You may receive up to 6 messages per week. Message frequency varies based on your subscription schedule and delivery method.
6.3 Costs.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Spaceship Earth Coffee Co. does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier’s standard messaging rates apply.
6.4 Opt-Out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts will be sent. You may also
disable SMS notifications from your Account Settings page.
6.5 Help

6.6 Carrier Liability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier.
6.7 Privacy
Your phone number is used solely for the purposes described above and is not shared with third parties for marketing. See our /privacy-policy/ for details on how we handle your information.
7. Promotions, Discounts & Cash Discount Program
We may offer promotional discounts, coupon codes, or special offers from time to time. Unless otherwise stated, promotions cannot be combined with other offers, are not transferable, have no cash value, and may be subject to additional terms disclosed at the time of the promotion.
We offer a cash discount on purchases made with cash. Posted prices reflect card payment pricing. The cash discount amount is displayed at the point of sale and at checkout.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, the Spaceship Earth Coffee Co. name and logomark, product names, and design elements, is the property of Henry George Coffee Company LLC or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, or create derivative works from any content on our website without our prior written consent. Limited, non-commercial use of our content for personal purposes (such as sharing a link on social media) is permitted, provided proper attribution is given.
9. User Conduct
When using our Services, you agree not to: use our Services for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, or data; interfere with or disrupt the operation of our website or servers; submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information; harass, threaten, or harm other users or our staff; or use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access our website without our written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Spaceship Earth Coffee Co., Henry George Coffee Company LLC, and their owners, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use our Services, regardless of the theory of liability.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or our Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that our website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
We make no guarantees about the specific results you will achieve from using our products.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Spaceship Earth Coffee Co., Henry George Coffee Company LLC, and their owners, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms, your use of our Services, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or our Services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
Before filing any legal action, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us atΒ info@spaceshipearth.coffee. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the “Last Updated” date. For material changes, we will provide notice via email (if you have an account) or by a prominent notice on our website at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of our Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with ourΒ Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Spaceship Earth Coffee Co. regarding your use of our Services, superseding any prior agreements or communications.
